The *bleepin* censoring CBS

CBS has refused to play the http://www.moveon.org Bush in 30 Seconds ad. They say it's too "Controversial." Another sad time for Democracy. Why would the "free press" be worrying about something being too "controversial?" That's the point of being the "free" press right? The freedom to say whatever you want, whenever you want to say it. That's part of the American Way, wasn't it? Or was everything they told me, and continue to tell me, a blatant lie? Fits in nicely with "They had Weapons of Mass Destruction, and were a threat to our national security."

And it's not just moveon, PETA was also not allowed to show their ad.

Is this what you call the "Free Press?" Is this Freedom? Is this Democracy? No, it's oppresion.

However, CBS *will* be showing a white house ad that says buying illegal drugs funds terrorism (which simply isn't true), Budweiser, and probably SUV commercials.

I'm with Michael Moore when I say this: Dude, WHERE THE HELL IS MY COUNTRY?! I thought this was AMERICA?! The land of the free, and the home of the brave? Seems more like the land of the ignorant, and the home of the paranoid oh-my-god-the-terrorists-are-out-to-get-me.

So, EVERYONE! Drink up, get drunk! Ignorantly believe misinformation and go get yourself an SUV to pollute the enviorment! Hell, consider yourself a hard-core PATRIOT while you're at it! Stick a couple flags on your new SUV... And then complain about the "high" gas prices and shitty mileage. Which is a GREAT reason to go to war with someone! We need that oil cheap, i'm not paying 2 dollars a gallon. Even if 55,000 men and woman - 500 being American soldiers - have to die to get it for me! Oh and make sure to kick the next stoner that you see's ass, because that lazy is a TERRORIST! Don't smoke weed and sit home and chow down, GET DRUNK AND RUN OVER A PEDESTRIAN!

Tell CBS what you think about them, and take a stance - DONT WATCH THE SUPER BOWL! I'm not going to. And you shouldn't either. It's up to us, the people, to take the country back from these manipulative corporations - and save face from this terrible war-monger of a president, and his greedy administration.
